Very well done movie for its time, and highly relevant today. A bioterrorism accident leads to devastation of mankind, stranding a small population of researchers and soldiers in Antarctica. These remaining humans set about repopulating and then have to deal with the mutual assured destruction of the leftover nuclear arsenals. Good stories and subplots amidst the general horrors of man on earth.
